I've also found some unexpected behaviour using <Directory> but haven't got enough time to narrow the problem. But I think that such expression works: <DirectoryMatch ^/home/.*/public_html> (note .* instead of *) or just: <Directory /home> -- Tomasz Papszun SysAdm @ TP S.A.
