hrmm... You're right. I can't find it either. It used to be there. That's where I found out how to do it. Well, here is a relevant snippet from my exim.conf. It should help get you going. Note I deliver mail on my machine to the directory /home/$USER/Maildir rather than the *directory* /var/mail/$USER. Either way, you *also* need to create three subdirs: new, cur, and tmp, e.g. mkdir /home/$USER/Maildir/{new,cur,tmp} Without them, mail won't get delivered. I found that out the hard way. :) Hope this helps. If not, give a yell. bob ###################################################################### # TRANSPORTS CONFIGURATION # ###################################################################### # ORDER DOES NOT MATTER # # Only one appropriate transport is called for each delivery. # ###################################################################### [snip] # This transport is used for handling file addresses generated by alias # or .forward files if the path ends in "/", which causes it to be treated # as a directory name rather than a file name. If this is done, the directory specified # in the .forward or alias file is the base maildir directory. # # Should you want to be able to specify either maildir or non-maildir # directory-style deliveries, then you must set up yet another transport, # called address_directory2.
