Am I correctly interpreting pages such as http://www.gelato.unsw.edu.au/IA64wiki/LargeBlockDevices in my understanding that Linux 2.4 can not address the entire capacity of a 3 terabyte disk? I find this very surprising if it's true. I would have expected there to be some demand for such a feature, especially since multiple-terabyte disk arrays can be found $10k or less these days.
