I like the multiple file approach ... I keep the main httpd.conf as bare as
possible and for every domain I host there is an included
domains/domain.com.conf file.  I stuff access controls, logging info and
anything else appropriate into those files, that way everything for a given
site is in a common file ... keeps debugging and config changes pretty
simple.
