There is a documented bug with the Testing (Sarge) version of Apache. I was wondering if anybody has a quick fix for Apache.
Both the '/usr/sbin/apachectl' and the '/etc/init.d/apache' startup scripts bomb and give a 'Segmentation fault'. To solve the problem, I tried reinstalling older versions of apache-common and apache from another Sarge server that is working. However, this did not fix the problem. I also did a diff on '/usr/sbin/apachectl' script and the '/etc/init.d/apache' script from 2 seperate servers. There seems to be no difference between the old and new startup scripts.
