dunque. io ho questi problemi con l'intel 855gm:

- tv-out in bianco e nero - si era capito, eh? :)
- la qualità dei divx con totem è pessima (manca dettaglio, è poco
  satura, poca profondità di colore) mentre con wxvlc è ok. magari ho
  configurato male totem (cosa usa totem per decodificare i divx?)
- l'opengl va senza problemi ma come prestazioni fa pietà. beh, si
  sapeva no? premesso che per me un portatile non serve assolutamente
  per giocare, il problema maggiore è che la memoria condivisa porta via
  della banda cpu/memoria e abbassa le prestazioni generali del pc. 
  glxgears va a 600 fps ma provate a installare neverball e vedete un
  po' le prestazioni senza togliere 'reflection'!
  l'opengl muore dopo il suspend-to-disk.
