Questa mattina ho trovato un server bloccato. Premetto che su tale server ho aggiunto un controller pata che ha 2 hd ide in mirror software. Riavviando il server, il controller mi diceva che non trovava gli hd e che bisognava spegnerlo e riaccenderlo. Pedissequamente ho eseguito togliendo anche la corrente per qualche secondo. Ho riacceso il server e il controller in effetti vede gli hd ma mi è sembrato subito lentissimo, anche soltando a caricare grub. Il mirror in seguito al blocco si è guastato e in automatico è partito il resync. mdstat mi dice che il syncing sta andando ad una velocità che oscilla fra i 1300K/sec ai 3500K/sec: non è in effetti bassissima?
Posso fare dei test per vedere come sta il controller pata?
