Salve,
trasferendo file con dimensioni non inferiori a 400 MB dal mio
portatile, PowerBook G4 con Mac OS X e client ftp Transmit, ad una
Debian Sarge con vsftpd, il trasferimento si blocca e sulla shell attiva
compare il messaggio riportato anche in kern.log ed allegato a questa mail.
Se provo a disconnettere ed a riconnettere il client rimane nello stato
di "Retrieving list of file" fino allo scadere del time out.
La cosa bella è che se effettuo il login sulla macchina da utente
(gianluca) mi fa entrare, compare il messaggio ma non mi da la shell.
Se effettuo il login via ssh rimane appesa.
Secondo me succede qualcosa di brutto al file system perché via ssh deve
leggere la chiave pubblica nella mia home e non potendola leggere la
sessione rimane bloccata.
Un pò diverso se il login l'ho effettuo dalla macchina stessa perché la
password la legge da passwd ma non è in grado di darmi la mia directory
home.
Loggandomi direttamente sulla macchina con l'utente root, tutto va a
buon fine ma se provo a scrivere: cd "/home/gianluca" la consolle si
blocca a "gia"!.
Lo spazio su disco c'è, il filesystem è ext3 ed il trasferimento avviene
via lan a 100Mbit.
Se riavvio linux e provo di nuovo a caricare i files funziona per un pò
e poi di nuovo l'errore.
A cosa è dovuto questo problema?
