Maybe we could refer to the existing bug log rather than asking people to repeat these arguments all over again? http://bugs.debian.org/227587 Btw, as it stands you're going to *have* to wait for the maintainer(s) of these libraries to do something, whether it be to drop the java2-runtime dependency or whether it be something else. It's therefore going to presumably be no slower to ask for them to add kaffe as a possible alternative.
