Yesterday, I had some troube to configure my tomcat with an admin-user. Now I try to have access to my tomcat over Eclipse.
I have installed Eclipse successfully and also installed the Tomcat-plugin of Sysdeo. But: if I create a new project, Eclipse does not or can not make a new sub-folder in den webapps-directrory. And I cannot start, stop or restart the tomcat-server with the tomcat-menu in Eclipse. I still use Sarge und Tomcat 4.1 which is part of Sarge. Eclipse is installed manually by the newest Packages from Eclipse.org. Eclipse runs with my own UID! Which is very importend in this case. My user-account is part of the root-group, which has access to tomcat. What I have to do else? Can anybody help me? Thank you very much.
