I think it's worthwhile. For example, some months ago I tried to build a recent release of libspring-java and I was unable to do it. I checked Spring sources and they were using 1.6. I could try with 1.5 again and check if that works. From Debian PoV I'm OK with all packages B-D on gradle building OK but of course from users PoV it would be desirable to have the most recent and featureful release available. -- Miguel Landaeta, nomadium at debian.org secure email with PGP 0x6E608B637D8967E9 available at http://db.debian.org/fetchkey.cgi?fingerprint=4CB7FE1E280ECC90F29A597E6E608B637D8967E9 "Faith means not wanting to know what is true." -- Nietzsche
