Hi Tiago,
You just have to override dh_auto_build in debian/rules and pass the -X
parameter. It looks like this:
override_dh_auto_build:
dh_auto_build -- -X package -DskipTests
(and you may have to add javadoc:aggregate to the line if the package
builds the javadoc)
