Hi everyone,

I work at Linspire Inc. as a packaging monkey, 90% of which simply consists of my stealing everything you guys do, making some tweaks, and adding it to our repository.

Currently, there are only two of us here that do such work, and believe it or not, even with the leeching off of you guys as well as Ubuntu and others, it is still quite a load of work.

We are currently seeking two others to join our team, and we'd greatly prefer that they are existing Debian developers. I myself am making an effort to become a Debian Developer myself, and wish to maintain the packages we create (NVU, LSongs, LPhoto, etc...). All in all, we'd like alot more interaction to occur between ourselves and Debian and feel this is a good start to making sure that happens.

We are located in San Diego, right across the way from UCSD. If interested in these openings, please send your resume, along with salary requirements to:

In addition to general *nix/packaging skills, the ideal candidates will also be proficient with Perl, Python, C, and C++.

We look forward to hearing from at least two of you. :-)

-Brian
