I also have no other versions of libpng installed: /usr/lib/libpng.a /usr/lib/libpng.so /usr/lib/libpng.so.2 /usr/lib/libpng.so.2.1.0.12 /usr/lib/libpng.so.3 /usr/lib/libpng.so.3.1.2.1 (/usr/lib/libpng.so is a link to /usr/lib/libpng.so.3, but it does not matter if I chance it to /usr/lib/libpng.so.2, I already tried) > from sid and I also have kde 3.0.2 and my konqueror is linking to > libpng.so.3 and I have no problems on any of my systems here.
