I am a beginner and it is my first install. When i start an kde2 Session after making choice between Kde2 or gnome(I think it is the kdm windows), kde begin start but shutdown very quickly at the "initalisation peripherals" . Where can I look at the problem ? ,the syslog says only that kde stops, where are lhe "log" of KDE ? Gnome Session works but i prefer KDE. Second question : Should investigate on this problem or migrate to KDE 3.05. Third question and last, remember i am an beginner How i can download an install the KDE3.05 for french users ?
