Thanks for being so outraged, it inspired me to finally experiment with klippers config options ;-) Here's what I get with everything2.com, copying from main page, pasting into their search bar: *Config 1* [ ] Ignore selection [x] Sync contents [ ] Seperate clipboard and selection Ctrl-c works Ctrl-v works highlight, MMB works *Config 2* [ ] Ignore selection [ ] Sync contents [x] Seperate clipboard and selection Ctrl-c works but not ticked by default in klipper history Ctrl-v fails unless I choose from klipper history highlight, MMB works *Config 3* [x] Ignore selection [ ] Sync contents [x] Seperate clipboard and selection Ctrl-c fails Ctrl-v fails highlight, MMB works I get same results with google.com main page. I am running Debian sid, kde 3.1.2, X4.3. HTH -- Simon Hepburn.
