Why, oh why I haven't asked this question before (using Linux for almost six years and never suspected that my kernel configuration is anything than perfect)? :'( Thanks a lot, I have recompiled kernel with CONFIG_PREEMPT and it seems to be really *much* more responsive. Why is this not more popularized?
