-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi. I'm trying out a VirtualBox install of AMD-64 Sid, to see if what I use has been successfully "64ed", and if KDE-4 is going to work for me in the future.
Well, I've already hit a stumbling block. When trying to customize the KDM screen, I can find "system settings => login manager", but there seems no way to enable "administrator mode" in order to make changes. The entire 7 tabs of options are greyed out, since obviously my user account does not have permission to change things. In addition, this is the first time I started a KDE-4 install from the beginning, running only KDE-4 and not XFCE first. There was no Desktop directory created, no "trash", "system" icons, nada. Is that normal?
