I've had similar problems but haven't been able to work out what is causing it (the plasmoid itself, udev, udisks, etc.). On a few occasions running something like fdisk -l /dev/sdX has caused the device notifier to wake up and notice the device. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
