Package: kernel-image-2.6.8-1-k7
Version: 2.6.8-2

Severity: critical
Priority: high

Hi,
I just change my kernel from 2.6.7-1-k7 to the 2.6.8-1-k7 and my CD-writer
doesn't work any more :(.
It work well with previous kernel ( 2.6.7 for exemple ).
IDE_CD module seem to work in 2.6.8 kernel
My CD-writer is an ASUS CDW-5232-AS and k3b detect it now as a cd-rom with
write
capability only for CD-RW !
I think it's a kernel issue ( try to update k3B, cdrecord with no success )
Thanks

Mourad
