Likely you have both kernel-image-2.4.27-1-k7 and kernel-image-2.6.9-1-k7. installed on the machine. > Several times over the past several weeks already upgraded kernel-images > have been upgraded to the SAME image. There have been at least two releases of kernel-image-2.4.27-1-k7 over the past few weeks (sorry about that, we all make mistakes). Are you sure you aren't seeing successive updates of the same package. > During those "upgrades" the "initrd.img" link has been invariably > removed with nothing left in place. That is bit of a problem, though I think this is the first time it has been reported against 2.4.27 (as opposed to 2.6.8/9). There is at least one bug in the BTS for this. -- Horms
