The bug fix that report refers to is <https://git.kernel.org/linus/b81de061fa59f17d2730aabb1b84419ef3913810> which is in 4.5, and refers to a regression in 4.5~rc1 caused by <https://git.kernel.org/linus/cf9a6784f7c1b5ee2b9159a1246e327c331c5697> . The regression and fix commits were backported in 4.4.3 and 4.4.6 respectively. So any regression when upgrading from 4.4.6-1 to 4.5.1-1 must be a different bug.
