Package: src:linux Version: 5.10.46-4 Severity: wishlist I am currently having to use the out of tree Exar USB Serial Driver (xr_usb_serial_common) to talk to a modbus communication cable. Last year, a reimplementation of that driver finally made mainline, as CONFIG_USB_SERIAL_XR.
