Hi, I am the maintainer of the ipw2100 module package. That module is now included in the kernel as of version 2.6.14. For the time being I want to keep the package and decide later whether to drop it.
The question is however, where to put the modules such that they do not conflict with the modules from the kernel. The related bugreport is #337920. I just want to verify that the submitter's solution is the right way to go. Please CC me on replies, as I am not subscribed to this list.
