--- Begin Message ---Package: src:linux Version: 5.6.7-1 Severity: important File: linux-image-5.6.0-1-686 Dear Maintainer, I am running in an issue when booting the latest kernel 5.6.0-1-pae. This appears only on 32-bit-version, every computer with 64-bit is running fine. Environment: I am running am EEEPC with a SSD harddrive, which is seperated in several partitions (/boot, /home (luks enc.), /var (luks enc.) , /usr (luks enc.). The batteries are fully charged and in best shape. Issue: When booting on battery, first /usr wants to be decrypted, what is running well. Then, as soon it wants to be /var decrypted, ththere is a loud noise from the speakers (hardly to describe, such a "taktaktaktaktaktak......." with about 5Hz. Ignoring this, the syetem is booting, but the sound stays. I tested with the prior kernel-version 5.5.0-2-686-pae, which works without any isues. I also had to say, that I had an issue with this kernel to the partition of /var, which killed my filesystem (glad, could restore it by using the superblock) and I believe this crash was due to the same bug in kernel-version 5.6.0-1-686 so I set this report to "important" as it might kill something. As a workaround, I am running now kernel 5.5.0-2-686-pae, but it would be nice, if you could fix this issue in kernel 5.6.0-1-686-pae (or higher). Thank you very much for the grrat work! Best regards and stay healthy!
