funny, I noticed that difference but thought that they won't have their
kernel patched for that. It seems I was wrong.
Given that Debian can do two monitors without firmware: I wonder what
Fedora does without firmware. Does Fedora still boot if you do
mv /lib/firmware/nvidia /lib/firmware/nvidia.bak
plus the Fedora equivalent of update-initramfs?
