Package: linux-image-6.1.0-39-amd64 Version: 6.1.148-1 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
Dear Maintainer, In Debian kernel linux-image-6.1.0-12-amd64 (6.1.52-1) Freesync Video Mode was not enabled by default. It is enabled by default since version 6.1.55-1. Debian kernel packages newer than linux-image-6.1.0-12-amd64 have Freesync Video Mode enabled by default. The problem is that finally Freesync Video Mode enabled by default was removed from the mainline in https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/3c591faadd8a94f68110e090bc294b1a338143b8 and in Debian kernel linux-image-6.1.0-39-amd64 (6.1.148-1) it is still enabled by default and causes various problems. -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.5 APT prefers oldstable APT policy: (500, 'oldstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-12-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages linux-image-6.1.0-39-amd64 depends on: ii initramfs-tools [linux-initramfs-tool] 0.142 ii kmod 30+20221128-1 ii linux-base 4.9 Versions of packages linux-image-6.1.0-39-amd64 recommends: pn apparmor <none> ii firmware-linux-free 20200122-1 Versions of packages linux-image-6.1.0-39-amd64 suggests: pn debian-kernel-handbook <none> ii grub-pc 2.06-13+deb12u1 pn linux-doc-6.1 <none>
