When you say the kernel freeze, does the machine still respond to pings? Does enabling the keyboard backlight (if available) and NumLock still work? What about pressing Alt+PrtSc+b?
I have installed a more recent kernel again (6.17.8+deb13-amd64) and am now waiting for the next freeze. Then I can tell you more.
Can you try installing kernels packaged by Debian from between Debian 12 and Debian 13 fromhttps://snapshot.debian.org/ to find the newest kernel that still works and the oldest broken one?
That could take a long time, even with binary search. The error only occurs sporadically.
