Package: initramfs-tools Version: 0.51 Severity: normal I apt-get upgraded today & noticed the following error:
Setting up linux-image-2.6.15-1-mckinley (2.6.15-6) ... Running depmod. Finding valid ramdisk creators. Using mkinitramfs to build the ramdisk. Other valid candidates: mkinitramfs mkinitrd.yaird cp: cannot stat `/etc/scsi_id.config': No such file or directory Not updating initrd symbolic links since we are being updated/reinstalled (2.6.15-4 was configured last, according to dpkg) Not updating image symbolic links since we are being updated/reinstalled (2.6.15-4 was configured last, according to dpkg) You already have a ELILO configuration in /etc/elilo.conf Running /usr/sbin/elilo ... Installation successful. udev was upgraded later on (0.084-3 -> 0.084-4). I dpkg-reconfigured the kernel-image and this error wasn't reproducible. Maybe initramfs-tools needs a versioned dep on udev 0.084-4? Filing as "normal", since I don't know if this actually causes any problems. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: ia64 Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-mckinley Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages initramfs-tools depends on: ii busybox 1:1.01-4 Tiny utilities for small and embed ii cpio 2.6-10 GNU cpio -- a program to manage ar ii klibc-utils 1.2.1-3 small statically-linked utilities ii udev 0.084-4 /dev/ and hotplug management daemo initramfs-tools recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
