I suppose it's a good reason to do a d-i release w/o 2.4 before dropping the kernel. (The GPL is another good reason..) I hadn't planned to do it that way, and I'd still like to see a decision that the kernel really is about to be dropped before removing it from d-i. -- see shy jo
