I too am getting logs filled with these evbug.c messages when I run kernel 2.6.16-2-686:

Dev: isa0060/serio0/input0, Type: X, Code: Y, Value: Z where X, Y, Z vary (X is 0/1/4, Y is 0/4/18/19/24, Z is 0/1/18/57) I have reverted to the install kernel (2.6.15-1-486) which does not give this problem. My system is Etch running on an AMD Sempron2600 in an AsRock K7VT4APro with 1Gb DDR400 RAM and 2 x 250Gb WD2500JS SATA HD. I too can provide further info if required.
