 Unfortunately I don't have one of these devices to test myself, so
we'll need to rely on you to do some debugging for us.

Specifically, it would be good to know if this works better w/ a newer
kernel and, if so, help narrow down when it got fixed.

fyi, the output of 'dmesg' would be easier to read, or a portion of
/var/log/kernel.log - ideally from bootup to oops.
