Package: linux-image-2.6.24-1-686 Version: 2.6.24-6 I have a share mounted via a Samba server with Unix extensions enabled. The share is mounted with the noperm option in /etc/fstab.
I can create a link, e.g. 'ln -s tmp x' and see that x is indeed a symbolic link to tmp. If I then attempt to 'rm x', rm will return me to the shell prompt with no error, but x still exists on the server. This problem is with version 1.52 of the CIFS module. I have now reverted back to using package linux-image-2.6.22-3-686, version 2.6.22-6.lenny1 and CIFS version 1.49. This works correctly. I am using Debian testing. -- Cheers, Ian. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
