Severity: important
It is somewhat a pity that bug #401482 still exists in 2.6.18.dfsg.1-18etch6 --
18 months after the problem has been reported first. I'm using a 32-bit kernel
on a 64-bit AMD Sempron.
How many years will it take until 2.6.23 is included in the stable distribution?
It is not even possible to debug simple programs like hello-world.c without
getting the error message "Failed to read a valid object file image from
memory".
