Package: linux-image-2.6.26-1-686 Version: 2.6.26-4 Followup-For: Bug #498205
I have got the same problem but on a Dell Latitude D620, meaning a 32-bit kernel and the internal PS/2 keyboard. The problem for me seems to trigger only sometimes when switching from X back to console. But once it happens, the arrow keys cease to work and no matter how often I do the X->console switch, it doesn't get fixed. The output of 'showkey -k' and 'showkey -s' is the same when the keys work and when they don't. However, 'showkey -m' doesn't show anything when things are broken, indicating a problem with the keymap, but trying to reload the keymap with 'loadkeys' has no effect. -- Package-specific info: **
