Same problem here with 2.6.26-11: after (fortunately) a couple of minutes after boot system activity continues (finishes to restore my previous KDE session), but mouse and keyboard input freezes suddently. I'm starting to be very uncomfortable with that kernel being chosen for the next Debian *stable*...
