You can build a package from svn with the following commands: apt-get -d source linux-2.6=2.6.26-19lenny2 sudo apt-get install build-essential fakeroot rsync sudo apt-get build-dep linux-2.6=2.6.26-19lenny2 svn co svn://svn.debian.org/svn/kernel/dists/lenny/linux-2.6 cd linux-2.6 debian/rules orig debian/rules debian/control debian/rules source fakeroot make -f debian/rules.gen binary-arch_i386_none_686 You may want to change the target name in the last command, e.g. to 'binary-arch_i386_none_686-bigmem' or 'binary-arch_amd64_none_amd64'. Ben. -- Ben Hutchings You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
