Package: linux-image-2.6.34-1-amd64 Version: 2.6.34-1~experimental.1 > linux-2.6 (2.6.34-1~experimental.1) experimental; urgency=low > * New upstream release > - rtl8192su: Add IDs for several more devices (Closes: #580740)
This didn't actually fix bug 580740, because the module is not enabled. This kernel I build myself has the module, and it works with the USB dongle in question: $ egrep CONFIG_RTL8192 /boot/config-2.6.34 CONFIG_RTL8192SU=m CONFIG_RTL8192U=m CONFIG_RTL8192E=m whereas this packaged kernel does not have the it: $ egrep CONFIG_RTL8192 /boot/config-2.6.34-1-amd64 # CONFIG_RTL8192U is not set CONFIG_RTL8192E=m Cheers, --Barak. -- Barak A.
