Could you try reverting the patch bugfix/all/vlan-macvlan-propagate-transmission-state-to-upper-layer.patch ? Instructions for rebuilding the official kernel packages are at <http://kernel-handbook.alioth.debian.org/ch-common-tasks.html#s-common-official>.
