I'd assume the same comment applies for the d-i's kernel-versions files.
I'd understand this also implies moving the modules lists dir:
- from debian/installer/*powerpc*/modules/*powerpc-powerpc64le* (since
it's no powerpc flavour)
- to debian/installer/*ppc64el*/modules/*ppc64el*
