Hi, Wolfram Sang, the maintainer of the I2C subsystem in the kernel, has posted a message to the debian-powerpc list (see https://lists.debian.org/debian-powerpc/2015/04/msg00065.html ). He is looking for help to test kernel changes on old Macintosh computers and has offered to work with developers on this bug.
