Hi Swen,
Your english is waaayyy better than my german :-)
The button with the blue line, between the two buttons with the red line
(just below the space bar) is the middle mouse button under X-Windows.
This is a fundamental difference between Windows and X-Windows, I think.
The button itself works fine for me - at least in the way I expect a
middle mouse button to work under X-Windows (paste, open browser in new
tab, etc).
If you want an easier scroll action, you can use the touchpad for
scrolling, however, with the "xfree86-driver-synaptics" package - this
will let you configure an area on the touchpad so that up / down
movement on that is translated to up / down scrolling, and so forth.
It may also be possible to configure your window manager to interpret
some sort of "middle-button + drag" action to scroll the window, but
that will depend on your window manager, and I don't know how to do it.
Regards,
Andrew McMillan.
