Imho you should try an Apple iBook or PowerBook. They have good displays,
leight weight and are well supported. the components are good (ati radeon
mobility, geforce 4 go, 100mbit lan, airport extreme, firewire, cdrw / dvd rw).
but the PowerBooks are a bit expensive.

Min. resolution is 1024x768 (on the smallest ibook), max resolution 1440x900
(on the 17" powerbook *wanttohave*). the powerbooks have a nive alu-case, and
all apple are only about 2-2.5 cm high.

if you're no friend of apple and want to buy a "normal" laptop, DON'T (!!!) buy
an acer... i'm using one, and it's NOT well supported....

no howtos to find, cheapest hardware components... just trashy...

Greetings
Dom
