Hi,
I just recompiled 2.6.12 kernel and the result was awesome.
Everything booted properly with hotplug and discover in place and all
the hardware was properly detected. Actually hotplug was causing
problems because it could not find the required modules. I enabled
them in the new kernel and everything is fine.
