There would be all the available cpufreq modules 
under /lib/modules/2.6.16-2-686/kernel/arch/i386/kernel/cpu/cpufreq/  .  I 
also have a Compa Presario 2200 laptop, and I got cpufreq working with the 
p4-clockmod module.  (modprobe p4-clockmod)
