hello debian fellows, i've got an old laptop that i'm using right now with debian testing/unstable, it's an Acer Aspire 3614LMi. this laptop has 4 USB conections but it's BIOS doesn't allow me to boot using USB, something that would be very important to me since the DVD isn't working very well, and i like testing several distros using this laptop.
does anyone knows if this kind of hardware supports the LinuxBios, Coreboot? Has anyone ever tried install coreboot on a laptop like this? here is my hardware: # dmidecode 2.9 SMBIOS 2.31 present. 32 structures occupying 1037 bytes. Table at 0x000DC010.
