Hi, I've been using 2.6.32-5-amd64 (on squeeze) for a while, and haven't seen any problems with VLC (the only program from your list I'm using). Generally I find 2.6.32-5-amd64 stable enough to soon remove 2.6.32-3-amd64.
I may try hibernation, but I haven't used it before - so that won't mean much. > With the kernel 2.6.30-bpo.1-amd64 all works almost fine but the package > linux-image-2.6.30-bpo.1-amd64 doesn't exist and so I tried the kernel > 2.6.32-5-amd64 (2.6.32-15) but with this kernel many things doesn't work > well: > vlc displays the image in black an white and is reduced to a quarter > horizontally. > Am I alone in this case? freemail appends ads, sorry: -- реклама ----------------------------------------------------------- Выиграй велосипед Giant и GPS Garmin в акции "Активное лето" на http://Aukro.ua -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-laptop-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
