I agree the l-b-cgi has multiple limitations and the manual
http://live.debian.net/manual/3.x/html/live-manual.en.html#167 appears to
accurately frame the the state of the l-b-cgi. It is always worthwhile to
always consider ways to improve to the l-b-cgi interface which will serve
the user base well. The best vehicle to address improvement and track
requests or issues related to l-b-cgi would be to utilize the bts. This
will allow for a concise way to accept and address issues where everyone
can have an opportunity to improve the interface.
