In July 2026 I've worked on the below listed packages for Freexian (E)LTS [1].
This is my seventeenth month involved with the (E)LTS efforts.

Many thanks to Freexian and our sponsors [2] for providing this opportunity!

This month my report is out a few days early as I will be offline for the
remainder of the month. The theme for this month is vacation which is
visible in the amount of work that I have done.

# Packages

jq
==

Backported fixes for new CVEs. Prepared update for bullseye and bookworm,
which resulted in [DLA-4661-1] and [DLA-4662-1].

u-boot
======

Received go-ahead from Stable Release Managers (SRM) and proceeded to
upload my stable-proposed-update of u-boot, which was accepted into the
archive. This make trixie catch up with fixes that has already gone into
sid/testing/bookworm/bullseye (atleast once next point release of stable is
out).

# Other

Discussed viability of continued support for libsoup2.4.

I also did some preliminary work on jq/buster (ELTS), but had a bit or mid-air
collision with jochensp (since I failed to properly claim and did not have
time finish my work in a timely fashion, totally my fault).
As jochensp was interested in comparing results, I handed over my preliminary
work. While on this topic, I'm also struggling with being able to update the
security-tracker git repo when falling behind and not updating every day
leading to obscure errors possibly caused by the workarounds I've used before
to be able to catch up. I read solutions are in the works and can't hope
enough that they will hopefully soon be in place.
