Comment:
How to install Bio-Linux packages on an Ubuntu system

  Now I can contact the maintainer of the package (as listed in the
debian/control file or revealed by dpkg -s etc.) directly, copying the message
to the [[http://lists.debian.org/debian-med/|mailing list]]. If I explain my
changes clearly the maintainer will see that they are correct and a push the
changes through to Debian. These can go into Debian Sid immediately filter
through to Debian Testing and the Ubuntu development release in short order.

+ == Q. How can I install packages from Bio-Linux to a default Ubuntu system? ==
+  1. Create a file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/01-biolinux.list with the following
content
+ {{{
+ deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/nebc/bio-linux/ubuntu/     trusty  main
